De kansen die zich voordoen, met name het vrije verkeer van apparaten binnenshuis, trekken steeds meer volgers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.advanceddigital.ca\/content\/QVENC-QVDEC.jpg\" alt=\"Video\/Audio over the Internet\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ondanks de zekere populariteit van oplossingen die gebruik maken van gespecialiseerde schakelaars, zijn dit de meest gebruikte protocollen voor audiotransmissie op basis van IP (Audio over IP), omdat ze kunnen worden ge\u00efmplementeerd in de bestaande netwerkinfrastructuur. Tegenwoordig zijn er meer dan twee dozijn van deze protocollen in gebruik, zowel open als propri\u00ebtair. De meest populaire is Dante, ontwikkeld door het Australische bedrijf Audinate.<\/p>\n<p>In het geval van analoge systemen is audioapparatuur meestal rechtstreeks met kabels verbonden: \u00e9\u00e9n kanaal, \u00e9\u00e9n kabel. Koperen audiokabels nemen veel ruimte in beslag, zijn zwaar en omvangrijk. Het aansluiten ervan is een dure en tijdrovende procedure en onder andere bij grote installaties vol fouten. In het geval van AoIP kan een twisted pair-kabel gelijktijdig gegevens verzenden van tientallen en honderden audiokanalen.<\/p>\n<p>Naast het verminderen van de hoeveelheid werk en het verlagen van de kosten van het project als geheel, biedt het gebruik van AoIP ook functionele voordelen, waaronder de mogelijkheid om audiosignalen over lange afstanden te sturen zonder de kwaliteit ervan te verminderen. In dit geval kan het signaaltransmissiepad namelijk met een muisklik worden aangepast zonder de bedrading te wijzigen. De afwezigheid van signaaldegradatie elimineert op zijn beurt de behoefte aan versterkers, die nodig zijn om signaalverzwakking als gevolg van elektromagnetische interferentie, hoogfrequente verzwakking en spanningsval te compenseren.<\/p>\n<p>AUDIOVARIANTEN OP HET NETWERK<br \/>\nAoIP-systemen maken de overdracht van ongecomprimeerde digitale audio via Ethernet \/ IP mogelijk. Afhankelijk van de laag waarin ze werken, worden protocollen onderverdeeld in drie hoofdklassen: fysieke lagen, datalink- en netwerklagen.<\/p>\n<p>Fysieke laagprotocollen maken de overdracht van signalen van het ene apparaat naar het andere mogelijk via conventionele twisted pair-kabels van categorie 5e of beter. Deze omvatten protocollen zoals Behringer&#8217;s AES50 of Roland&#8217;s Ethernet Audio Communication (REAC).<\/p>\n<p>Met Link Layer-protocollen kunt u een kanaal cre\u00ebren tussen twee apparaten in een netwerk. Het eerste protocol van deze klasse was Cirrus Logic&#8217;s Cobra Net, dat verscheen in 1996. Een andere bekende vertegenwoordiger is Ethersound.<\/p>\n<p>De IEEE heeft de 802.1BA-standaard voor Audio Video Bridging (AVB) overgenomen (evenals verschillende gerelateerde standaarden). AVB is ontworpen om de noodzakelijke wijzigingen in de netwerkinfrastructuur tot een minimum te beperken. Om echter een video- en audionetwerk van professionele kwaliteit te kunnen verzenden, moeten alle bruggen (schakelaars) in het signaalpad AVB ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>Netwerklaagprotocollen kunnen meerdere apparaten verbinden en onderling signalen uitwisselen. Naast Dante zijn dit het eigen Livewire-protocol van Axia Audio en het open Ravenna-protocol van ALC NetworX.
