The apparent difference between &#8220;16 bit and 24 bit&#8221; is 24-16 = 8, but in reality there is a stage difference of 16,777,216 steps-65,536 steps = &#8220;16,711,680 steps&#8221;. The difference between 16-bit and 24-bit is actually 256 times.<br \/>\n16-bit 44.1 kHz recording<br \/>\n24-bit 48kHz recording<\/p>\n<p>By the way, the sampling frequency is 48 kHz \u00f7 44.1 kHz = 1,088 times.<\/p>\n<p>It makes no sense to judge sound quality by numbers, but<br \/>\nI think the relationship between sample rate and bitrate is not negligible difference.<\/p>\n<p>Another thing related to sound is the &#8220;standards \/ features&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Audio CDs are created at 44.1 kHz, 16-bit, but as the response of<br \/>\nfrequency is 20 Hz to 20 kHz, to be precise, the sound<br \/>\nbetween 20 Hz and 20 kHz it is sampled 44,100 times per second and<br \/>\nvolume is 65,536.
