The output waveform of these DACs is<br \/>\nfight a useful signal, framed by a significant amount of high frequency<br \/>\ntotal noise, the main energy of which is far enough away from<br \/>\nthe higher frequency of the useful signal and thus effectively suppresses even<br \/>\nthe simplest analog filter.<\/p>\n<p>The effective bit width of a Delta-Sigma DAC is generally determined from a pair of<br \/>\noutput signal meters &#8211; noise level and non-linear distortion factor<br \/>\nzheniya characteristic of a parallel DAC of a certain bit depth.
