What is the volume booster?

Volume Booster is the increase or boost of the overall volume gain level of an audio. Either an audio or video file.
Very often, for reasons that we will see later, an audio or video file sounds with a lower loudness than the rest of the audio or video files and this must be corrected by a normalizer. Because otherwise we would have to do it manually.

Volume Boost in the era of vinyl records?

Was this problem also present in the era of vinyl records?
Generally not, and first of all, because a song on a vinyl record did not end and another one on a different vinyl record immediately began.
